$25 into $170 36 hours later.....

Update So a day and a half a ago I got approved for $25 on my bodog account. I dont have any vids because my account is on another computer but I have a couple Images as proof to show everyone who cares. Playing poker for a living Has got to be the easiest way to make a living as long as you have patients. The key things to remember is to play tight and aggressive, watch the board, you should fold if the player seems like he may have a better hand than you ( this one takes a little learning and getting used to) Im not saying to always fold if someone bets into you but watch all the players if someone is in every hand than he will usually bluff a little more than the tight player that waits for the right hands to play. Dont put all your money into one pot unless you can say that you are 100% sure that after the river you will still have the best hand. Unless you have a really good hand and the hit wont really effect you.
My experience with AK has been pretty bad I used to go all in but after getting them cracked by 777's or 72o 8/10 times I usually will not push all in anymore. Unless that is if I can take the hit without it effecting my chip stack.

**** Everything Ive said are just my recommendations you can play how you like but I am keeping everyone posted as I go to show you what will for sure work********

To be honest with everyone I just started playing poker this month. Ive played with friends in the past but never like I am now. and it may have only been a handful of times I did read a couple books before I started and I wasnt sure If I could actually do it or not.

Alright so... Heres whats been happening for the last day and a half.... Started an account at Bodog and they deposited $25 into my account.

323 pm 10 27 2010

From there I played Tight and aggressive poker at the Double or nothing $7 buy in tables until I turned that $25 into $80 (In the pic I took it at $64 I think)

947am 10 28 2010

After that I decided to try my luck at the cash table .10/.20 I put $10 in there and turned it into $20 in about 10 or 20 min. for a total of $90. Then I decided that Since I play so tight and aggressive I need to move up and just make sure I dont go all in unless I know I have the best hand so I took $50 knowing that if anything happens to it I have $40 still and can hop back on the double or nothing tables (which are easy BTW) I took that $50 and got on a .25/.50 cash table for about 20 min and turned that $50 into $130 for a total of $170 in my account now. I then hopped off because I felt I needed a break and decided to update everyone on my progress.. comment and let me know what you think.

Tournament Vid's

Alright so Im gonna post some vid's of a couple tourny's I did yesterday when I got my Free Money Deposit. I am no where near a pro poker player but Im jus showing you how easy it is to make money playing with little to no skill. The tournament I entered Is a $5 SNG with 6max players. 1st and 2nd places get paid about $15 each.give or take a few about 12 cents. In the video's I posted Im playing at Players only, not my favorite poker room  but It's free money so I figured I should spend it. Players only is a smaller poker room with only about 2-3k people on at any given time. For First time players Id recommend either Players Only or Cake poker which is what I really like. Cake poker is also a smaller site with about the same amount of players as players only and there skill level is good for the average beginner. If you want go ahead an comment on my vid's like I said Im no pro and I know there was I think 1 bad play on each video but hey its a part of learning so go check out the vid's, leave a comment and come back cause im gonna be posting more and Im going to do a series where I take $25-$50 and turn it into $500.

Texas Hold em Rules

Texas Hold 'Em is a seven card poker game with simple rules that a beginner can easily learn and begin to play immediately. In spite of the simplicity, it is a fast and complex game that takes skill and practice to master. No wonder it has become one of the most popular forms of poker played today.

Texas Hold 'Em uses a disc called a dealer button to indicate where the cards are to be dealt. Prior to the deal, the two players to the left of the button place live bets called the small and large blinds. It's called blind because it's made prior to seeing any cards. It's called live because it counts as part of any further bets in the first betting round.

The play begins with two cards dealt face-down to each player. Action starts with a betting round beginning with the player to the left of the blind bets and continuing clockwise around the table. Players may bet, check, raise, or fold in turn. The large blind has the privilege of last action and may check or raise the bet.

Three community cards are then dealt face up in the center of the table and another betting round takes place beginning with the player to the left of the dealer button. Another card is dealt face up followed by a round of betting. The fifth and last card is dealt face up and a final round of betting takes place.

Players remaining in the hand will then show their cards and the winning poker hand will be awarded the pot. Any combination of hole cards and community cards may be used to make the best five-card poker hand.

My First Blog

This is my first blog posting and my first blog but I play online poker everyday so I figure I can spread some knowledge since I probably have more than the average website that was built by some web designer. To be honest with you I dont know anything about blogs so you guys will have to work with me on this for a little while but Ill get it down. I would really like comment on anything you would like to see or you feel i should change. I have an account with just about every U.S. poker site so I can point the new players in the right direction on which sites I believe are the easiest to make money on. And how to build your bankroll. I'm actually going to start making videos so that everyone that would like to can view them anytime and learn how to build there bankroll. Im going to start with free cash from one of the poker sites which ill also show you how to get and then just grind it up to maybe $500. Then ill start another season and grind it to something a little better but this will all take some time so just bare with me and ill show you how the average person can turn free money into a career. I just ask that everyone helps share my page, bookmarks it and checks back in daily to see the progress. Well this is it for now and ill update daily, Later!
